Stitch SA is a South African sewing manufacturer built around a simple belief: great products start with great workmanship.

From technical outdoor products and caravan awnings to custom manufacturing and specialised sewn products, we combine practical engineering, skilled craftsmanship and hands-on manufacturing experience to turn ideas into products that perform.
Stitch SA started in 2022 in a garage with a small operation, a few machines and a clear ambition: to build a sewing manufacturing business that customers could genuinely rely on.
Founder Philip Roux, a mechanical engineer with more than a decade of manufacturing experience, saw an opportunity to bring a more structured, practical and engineering-driven approach to the sewing industry.
What began as a small hands-on operation quickly grew into a dedicated manufacturing facility serving established brands and producing increasingly complex products.
Today, Stitch SA specialises in the manufacture of technical sewn products, with particular expertise in outdoor and caravan products, including awnings, camping equipment and other demanding applications where durability and consistency matter.
Despite the growth, the philosophy remains the same as it was in the garage: understand the product, solve the problem properly and take pride in every item that leaves the factory.
We believe manufacturing works best when there is close collaboration between the people designing a product and the people actually making it. That is why we work alongside our customers to help refine designs, improve manufacturability, solve production challenges and develop products that can be made consistently at scale.
Our goal is not simply to become a bigger factory, but rather to build a South African manufacturing company known for quality, reliability, innovation and long-term partnerships.
